...except they won't. 'Cos it's a book. Probably. Well I reserve judgement till I've read it, but how does it compare to Slaughter? Or CHERUB? (Worse than the former but not than the latter?) In any case I'm slightly more surprised at the usage of expletives than dark themes - does that say something about me, I don't know Mind you kids nowadays...

Ooh, pick me, pick me! ;D
It's very, very different to HP, both in terms of plot and terms of writing style. She jumps between different characters each chapter, with them eventually linking up. Dark in places, strong language in places and an unexpected, shocking ending. I enjoyed it, a little slow to start but good once you get into it. Nice mix of characters too.
