Womans rowing and Brad Wiggins got us our golds so far. (Yusss! Woot woot!)
Also I'm having so many Olympic feels... I'm getting really interested in Handball, and I was already interested in cycling and its just really weird and I can't even help myself...
WARNING: Rant ahead! A problem I'm having with the Olympics is that since we're hosting, every time we don't get a medal or the medal we expected, we "failed". "____ failed to get a gold medal today." "___ failed in the ______ yesterday". Like- no. Just no. They didn't "fail" they did brilliantly. They did far better than you did. Stop treating them like they've let us down, when it's awesome they're even there for us in the first place. They're obviously the best in GBR for them to be there, and I'm pretty sure you couldn't do half the things they did to even GET there. Just because they're not as awesome as China (who have like a bazillionmillion people to pick to compete) doesn't mean they've "Failed" us. I'm proud of all the athletes there regardless of medals or bloody country. They're all awesome. In comparison to them, I'm a sexytimeing potato. (And that's not even a joke guys.)

Today was a day of medals for team GB Silver AND Gold in canoe slalom? Didn't expect that!

I love canoe slalom! I used to canoe myself a few years back but a series of bad ear infections now means I can't even wash my hair without having to block my ear up, so I had to stop. Watching the boys win a 1-2 today really makes me want to get back into it, and I'm sad that I can't, for the moment at least.

I agree with this post 100 percent. No one "fails" at the Olympics. Did anyone see that rower from Niger who finished last by over a minute? Is that considered failing? sexytime no, he's an olympic athlete, that's more than I can ever say. It's outstanding that they're even there...

Unrelated to topic: Seeing "sexytime" instead of the bad word is very amusing

^ Agreed!
Damn the cycling was amazing today. Shame about the women for GBR being relegated because they totally would have won that poop, because GBR is awesome at cycling. I love watching the cycling. Like seriously, just watching re-runs of sprints I'd already seen made put me on edge about to jump up and shout at the tv because it gets me so excited and geared up. Its insane. It was amazing. I love cycling so much :3
Though I was super annoyed I wasn't there. I made it very clear I wanted to see the cycling to my parents, but alas I wasn't allowed for various reasons.
I just feel like I'm really into it, and I'm pretty sure at every single event, people will have gone who didn't even want those specific tickets and were just going because its the OLYMPICS man, and they'll complain about "they're not even my team up why am I here?" and I'm like :"UGH WHY AM I NOT THERE, I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH YOU'S ARE AWESOME"
Even watching teams that aren't GBR gets me insanely excited.. I love watching people at the best of their abilities doing something they love. It annoys me that at some events people are watching their phones rather than the athletes being awesome..
I have too many olympic feels man i just want to be there to watch everything all the time xD

I can relate to all the Olympics feels... XD
GAHHHHH the United States was ahead of China yesterday... now China is leading again. But that's okay. Because of Michael Phelps. Although his 200m butterfly made me really upset. Also, two words: Tom Daley.

Hey Great Britain, sorry and all, but I guess our women team is actually fairly good at football (soccer).

So the only thing I'm super happy about is the cycling.
GBR dominates cycling like a female dawggy..

I'm so frustrated, I can't even.

I made a massive post but it didn't send.. which is probably good because I keep posting massive things in here because I get excited. :L
Basically, I'm thrilled. Had to get my exercise bike out so I could cycle away my energy instead of bouncing in front of the TV cheering. :L All were amazing.
Also Greg Rutherford reminds me of a ginger Neil Patrick-Harris. Just saying. I was waiting for him to say " that was.. LEGEND- wait for it- DARY!" xD
