^^ Don't judge a book by it's title. And I quite like the title, it's relevant both as a metaphor and a literal translation in the book.

So. I'm studying this for english now. Although I've already read it, and I really disliked it, I'm going to pretend that I didn't dislike it, so that I'm not having to force myself to read it. Chances are I'll be posting in this regularly asking for help with it though

^^ Sparknotes is a good resource for english when you're pretending you like a book.

I hate it also, very much so, but reading the first third is the worst, after that it gets more like a story.

Why does everybody hate this book? TT^TT Am I the only one who actually enjoyed this book? I thought it was great. Heavy with symbolism and a good theme (or, in other words, a theme that I actually understood).

Lord Of The Flies is so dull. Like, properly boring.

I thought it was alright also xD it was just irritating because of the slowish readers and also having to stop after every word to talk about our topic 'power'
