So hi guys! Been a while since I made a thread and I can't remember if I've made this one already but I looked and couldn't see one so please bear with me.
Do you have any sort of life mottos or sayings when times get hard? if you do - post it here and maybe help or inspire someone else! I'm just really interested in this generally and I think you can tell alot about someone by their view on life. yay. That is all.

I have a few sayings, but I generally believe that actions are a lot more important than quoting/echoing someone else's thoughts about life. (The main reason I dislike inspirational speeches; they're a bunch of cute quotes and sayings without any real message behind them.)
Um yeah. The one that has never failed me is 'TM is always right'. xD

"Don't cry because it is over. Smile because it happened." Dr. Suess's quote got me through my Harry Potter withdrawal XD

"You can think and you can fight, but if you want to stay ahead, you just gotta dance!" This is everything you'll ever need.

So true PG so true. I try to keep the oh so original "you can do it" in my head when I'm facing issues. But the only time I ever actually use it is when I know I should be getting out of bed, but I have this massive mind block and I just wont. :L So i have to try to persuade myself to get out of bed. Other than that I'm currently living by :"have a go at something" and get out of my comfort zone. So basically no life mottos just the normal, unoriginal "you can do it" and "try something new" :L

mmmm.... I guess it's hard to say, because the "inspirational" things I say to myself are very different from what I would say to other people.
For example, things I say to myself when I'm feeling sad or whiny: "Get the f*ck over it." "What do you really have to complain about? You're not starving to death, you idiot." "It could always be worse, always. and if it couldn't, you either get through it or you don't, so there's really nothing to worry about, is there?"
I'm much more supportive of my friends issues.

AND ALSO
"When I am weak, then I am strong." ~ The Bible. Corinthians something, I believe.

Currenlty I am using as you may have guessed from the title - just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. but I think that one has it's flaws because it tires you out eventually, it's good for dealing with some induvidual problems but not as a life motto Wanderer I really like yours. PG, my dancing isn't great - it tends to be alot of awkwardness for everyone involved

^^Maybe you should use "Just keep swimming, and if you get too tired, hey that's not a problem, just take a break and float."

If I'm not just waving my limbs around, I'm busting out the 'Funky Fish'. I'll let you imagine it's horrific awkwardness, rather than grace you with video evidence.
