Hi. I know most of you guys vaguely from CHERUB, it's weird. Hunger Games is amazing, I have read the whole series.

I finished it. Wow, anyone else feeling disappointed? I just finished Mockingjay, I cannot believe the decision Haymithc and Katniss make about The Hunger Games at the end!

Hmm, having a final HG for the children of Capitol? me neither, pretty disgraceful in the mind of a book, but if Suzzane is trying to show the book is more RL than a fairytale; it may be spot on.

Yeah I just couldn't believe they decided that. It seemed like the whole war was pointless, they were meant to be freeing people of the tyranny of The Capitol however it that moment they seem simply to be replacing them with new evil dictators. The whole thing they have stated again and again throughout the story was how horrific The Hunger Games were, how horrible it was to take people's children, who are completely innocent and not just kill them, force them to kill each other. I couldn't believe that Katniss forgot all this at the end. I couldn't believe she said 'for Prim', The Hunger Games are what almost got her sister killed in the first place!

I finished it. Wow, anyone else feeling disappointed? *SPOILERS ALERT*Heck yes. The Hunger Games and Catching Fire has taught me to expect lots of action, but Mockingjay skipped over a lot of potential action scenes (like Peeta's rescue, for example). Plus, I disliked how Gale randomly got shunted off to the side and was barely ever mentioned again. I don't even like Gale, but I still was upset at how inconclusive his story was.
I am very much a Peeta/Katniss fan and I was very upset to find very little interaction between the two of them. So when they "got together" in the end, it just seemed so.... wrong o__O
EDIT ~ Liam: We have a very nice spoiler tag on the forum that should be used in situations like this. Simply type "
sample text
" and it will be hidden in a lovely little button that saves people for having stories spoilt for them ;D

Ok I googled the cast. As much as I love Josh Hutcherson... he's not blonde. And if he were to dye his hair blonde, he'd look really stupid. If they're going to cast him as Peeta, they may as well keep his real hair color. It wouldn't be the first time people went off on character descriptions for film adaptations. So I'm actually okay with Hutcherson as long as they don't dye his hair or make him wear colored contacts or whatever.
Jennifer Lawrence is much too old to play Katniss, but I think she might be a good Katniss if they dye her hair. I think she'd be fine as a brunette. And tbh, I don't really care for Katniss in the first place so I don't care who butchers her character.
As for Liam Hemsworth... WTF!?!?!?!??!?!
Also, I wonder who was cast as Haymitch... I ALWAYS imagined Robert Downey Jr. playing the role because he looks like a Haymitch-y type of guy.
