by Malorie Blackman.
Woah. I hate it. It's too true, albeit worse case scenario.
It makes you actually think what homophobia does, how it actually makes the person hate themself; rather than just you hating the homosexual bit. It may not fit for everyone, but I can relate to this personally and what happens did make me feel a bit sick, but it's well worth a read. I guess you could say it's not a normal scenario, but little things do add up.
The story is based around a boy who is suddenly landed with a baby at 17 and has to learn how to care for her, his brother is gay and is open about it.
Anybody else read it? xP

Nope, never heard of it, although it sounds interesting, it may have to go on my list that I'll probably never get around to. xP

Hmm sounds interesting, but I still have 50 odd books on my shelf that I havent read, but I've looked at and thought: "... i'll read that later.." Methinks I wont be adding to that shelf until I've read at least half of them. XD

Wanted to get this today at Waterstones but decided against it, for now. I've got too many to read. At first I thought it was a Noughts and Crosses prequel with the cover.

Boys Don't Cry is amazing. Like, AMAZING. I love Malorie Blackman. She can write novels that are so honest, human and beautiful. Anyway, I wrote a really long review (<-- link) saying why I thought it was awesome, so go read it... @michael- why is the thread in Dark Fiction? It's a coming-of-age novel...

I really like Malorie Blackman's novels but I'm not sure whether to get this. I'm going to waterstones tomorrow and I'd like to buy it because it looks quite good but I've got lots of books to read still. Might just borrow it from the library at some point.

Forum is the whole site, imo...
Yeah, it's a greatly horribly addictive book.
