Indeed. Kidnapped maybe?

Likely, but surely he's a bit better than that! He's meant to have saved the world, then to be kidnapped.

[Minor spoilers]
I'm a bit into it, and it's probably kindapped by the sound of it. Very interesting plot though. Hera is very involved. Quite intruiging.

My freind had it tonight and I'm going to kill Rick. WTF was he thinking with split chapters? (E.g. One chapter is Jason, one is leo etc.) + It's about Roman + Greek gods.. Whaf? Sounds utterly crap ++ it's like 550 pages long. EEP

While the chapters are divided into perspective, and they're entitled respectively, it's not one then one of the next character. Sometimes it's two for Jason, or three for Leo etc.
The Roman thing is actually quite intruiging. It's mysterious.
Besides, the Roman Gods were based off the Greek ones.

Hmmm... split chapters can be annoying, and I've never fully understood Roman Gods and Greek gods, they contradict each other, surely? =S

Okay, to what I said before: I was wrong. It's epic, nice plot and the new characters are pretty awesome. Split chapters are cool now WANT TEH NEXT!

I've finished it now, and yes, it is a very good opening to the sequel series.

Not necasserily. It depends, at the moment, it could be someone else. It might be Percy, though. EDIT: I've just posted my review of the book on my website. Go read!
