ClickeyAnyone? Bleurgh. I just think it'll be just a repeat of PJ, Don't get me wrong: They were awesome, I just thought he'd be doing something different. I've pre-ordered it in any case, but i'm sceptical at the moment. Woo me Mr Riordan. EDIT ~ Liam: Changed title to book name.

Hmm, about 7 days till publication I think? I hope it isn't a rip off PJ, but I will still read this. New plot and more greek mythology = Michael happy. =)

I think this could be quite cool, the only worry I have is the same as you guys: I just hope it won't be a PJ in disguise.

As Rick said in an interview I found on the site, he did leave it fairly open, he just needs to get the balance right. =)

It's interesting that he's now kinda basing it on the legen of Jason (of which I know next to nothing of...)

Oh dear, That sounds not good. ^ If he tries to set it on just one story (Loosly) it'll be crap, The reason I loved it was because of all the myths in modern day today: The way he came up with it all was awesome

I think you're misunderstanding me. What I'm saying is that he's basing his character of Jason and the Argonauts, Like Percy was based of Perseus.
Apart from that, I doubt much will be similar.

Nononon, I didn't mean that, I meant... Erm, Something else :L From the looks of the cover, it seems to be more kiddyish. Don't judge a book by it's cover though

I saw a trailer and it seemed childish too, the cover looks... *checks* hmmm.. bottom bit is cool but the mechanical thing at the top looks terrible.

Apparantly Percy is the 'Lost Hero', according to someone who has read the book. It'll be kinda cool to see him some more...

Hmmm, sounds a bit weird, what's our world saver doing lost and in need of saving from some newcomers...
