I'm not allowed a job Michael!!! My mum is a freak like that. She thinks I'll screw up.
Artemis Fowl is a win. (Also the cover for Behemoth has come out I believe. ;D *excited*)
Can I not just read it online? I'm lazy.

For the 8th of August do people want to read Artemis Fowl together as the second book club book? I mean if they can keep off reading it until then.

I'm not allowed a job Michael!!! My mum is a freak like that. She thinks I'll screw up. Well then how the hell are you meant to get a job when you have to have one!? Eni - I'm not big on Artemis Fowl, but that's fine by me, I assume it's a series that unless you've read all the books, the new one would be difficult. =/.

Erm, I donno. It might work ...it probably won't.
We could do something else. I never read The Ruby in the Smoke, what do people think of that? Or *is scannng book shelves* I also have Un lun Dun which I've been meaning to read forever, and Stardust by Neil Gaiman.
Edit: You don't like Artemis Fowl? Are you insane! It's one of the bestest series evar!

Shall we pick four books and then make a poll? If we have the new Artemis Fowl, Ruby and the Smoke, and two others? ...suggestions welcome.

Good idea. I'll send out a large PM too.
September should be SW, it comes out early september/late august for UK.
Hunger - Michael Grant? Necropolis - Anthony Horowitz? (4th in a series though =/.)

Hunger sounds like a good idea, with Perdy's review up and such. It seems to appeal more, but that could easily just be me...

I haven't read Gone, although I'm meaning to. Has everyone already read Gone?

Hunger Games! Hunger Games! Those books are just fantastic, and we'd do the first one I assume. And I haven't read Gone, that's what I thought you meant because I'm stupid like that.
