After the great idea from Eni, we are now to start a TTBF Book Club. The first book will be Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger. Please post in the Book Club Members Thread if you wish to join the bookclub, then wait to be accepted. As soon as most people hyave signed, we will give a date of when to start. It would be a good idea to buy/borrow/hire this months' featured book as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Do you have to join now Michael or can I join when I know a book you're talking about? I have so many books that I have to read already so I don't think I'd have time to squeeze in another :/

You can join in whenever.
The whole point of a book club is reading books you don't know! :3

Yeah you can dip in and out.
But at the same time you should definitely read Catcher in the Rye, everyone should. It's the pinnacle of teenage angst books and it's very short *badgers*

I'd like to join please! I'll see how quickly I can get hold of catcher in the rye, but maybe I'll have to catch you all up!

That's ok, I was gonna do a week of reading and a week of discussing, I don't think it'll matter too much if you're still reading it in the discussing week.

We finished the Catcher in the Rye (although you're definitely still welcome to read it) if you want to read with us though I think the next book we're starting is A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.
