Yeah, I'll read anything from any year as long as it's good.
Mmm, if by 'old' you mean 'used' yes, otherwise there tend to be a lot of recent books in the charity shops if you pop in regularly. That said I suppose I do read books from years ago rather than the present day ones.
And yush, lots of good ones.

Oh wow, I haven't touched this in yonks.
Want to Play - P J Tracy
I read this a couple of days ago and I honestly can't see what all the hype was back when this was written. Reviews and comments I'd read promised that the book was "impossible to put down" and would "keep you in suspense" but I was neither that impressed with the actual story/characters, nor did it take me long to work out who the actual killer was. It was kind of predictable, and the writing was so-so. I liked the game idea in it but that was about all.
You Are Next - Katia Lief
The beginning of this was bumpy. I though "gee, another bad buy" but a few pages in the first person style it was written in no longer bothered me and I settled down into the book. I can't say that it was brilliant, or that it left me thinking about it afterwards, but it wasn't bad either. I quite liked it, although some of it seemed a little contrived. The idea (although not original) was good, and it was a light read.
