Oh my gosh, I love the first one, haven't read any of the other. Someone on CF told me that it ruins the first, Is this true?

This book absolutely stunned me and it was really emotional but when i talked about it to my friends, they laughed! it was really unfair! By the way, how do you get a picture as an avatar?

Yes, imo the second one completely ruins the first one However they are all very good and so well worth a read if memory serves. ^^

I read the first one while I was away. Awesome. (Except that I wanted to punch a few of the characters in the face.) It's paced brilliantly though, and I respect her so much for that ending.
Not sure whether I want to read the rest just yet, will probably pick them up in a little while.

Very good series, same goes for "Boys Don't Cry". It's advertised awfully, and the backstory is far more interesting than the advertised one.

Getting the books for Christmas but couldn't wait so I bought noughts and crosses! Never know so much talent, great read, I recommend it to anyone. (except 3 yr olds, imagine them reading the sex scene!)

If you've finished the series, I recommend reading 'Boys don't cry', similar to read, different plot...

I got Checkmate a while back at a second hand book store; I haven't read the first two though. Should I wait to get those ones or do you think I can go ahead and read Checkmate?

Read the first two- makes Checkmate a much more enjoyable book, and doesn't give away any spoilers.

Last time I tried ordering off there, it told me that it didn't ship to South Africa. :/ I use a local online shopping site instead.

Boys don't cry is probably the only book that actually did make me cry. That really is saying something. <3
