Alrighty, I made this thread because I have decided I want a little place of my own to hoard all my art in, instead of clogging up your dirty Artisticness thread SO THERE. Drew this today, it's a Percy jackson joke, which you will only get if you have read all the books AND have seen the film. Even then you may not get it, as I am a man of infinite wit and comical genius.

He's holding his bow wrong. You don't grip bows, you rest it between your thumb and index finger, if you grip it 1. you will drop it and 2. you will destroy your hand, with the force of pulling back the string and making the bow curve. ;D *does archery* Other than that, I SECOND THE AWESOMENESS.

I don't care how he's holding his bow It's a VIKING bow, which everyone knows is held completely different to a modern bow. Honestly, you claim to know about archery...

Actually they're not. At the club, quite a few of the archers have obtained old bows ranging from medival ones that are purely for show, to indian bows which you can use. Each are held in exactly the same way, with slight variations in the fingers, and arrows. Pwned. (and tbh, i was quite kind, i didn't point out the flaws in his stance... His elbow that is down should be up and held in the position. He shouldn't move until after the arrow has fallen, as good practice, else he might move his arm while the arrow hasn't gone yet- the movement in his arm, would send his arrow off target. Plus he should be standing sidelong, in order to hold the arrow, and his chest should be pushed out so his shoulderblades meet, in order to have the correct stance to make sure the arrows fly straight. ;D)
